  PDFPublish 2.0 is a batch-processing application for the creation of searchable-image PDF files that contain:

PDFPublish is a batch processing application that encodes raster image files and also PDF and DjVu files to searchable PDF format, and which also adds comprehensive metadata attributes to PDF files in preparation for presentation on the web.
Metadata attributes that can be applied in this application include:
1. Optical Character Recognition (OCR) of existing DjVu documents in 176 languages, with advanced OCR controls. This provides support for external full-text search-indexing, and it also enables the Find function and for Copy/Paste operations.
2. Recognition of Universal Resource Locators (URLs) and E-mail addresses in the recognized text and the insertion of hyperlinks into the PDF document.
3. Modification of document attributes, such as opening view and security settings.
4. The embedding and extraction of metadata into and from existing PDF files.
5. The generation and removal of integrated thumbnails.
PDFPublish 2.0 is the next upgrade to JRAPublish 1.5, which is released for PDF output only, with the DjVu features of the JRAPublish 1.5 product disabled. PDFPublish 2.0 licenses are being sold now. Customers will recieve the JRAPublish 1.5 product for PDF-only and can use this until the 2.0 upgrade is finished.
